Anonymous | As a Kingstonian supporter, I would be very disappointed if Burgess Hill are evicted from their ground, at which I have enjoyed watching football and some good hospitable, friendly company.

Brian Burgess | Our football club is being bulldozed for housing development at a time when sporting activities are supposed to be being encouraged by local councils...just shows how dreadful ours is.When are the next council elections?

Donna Williams | Leylands Park is the Community
Andrew Burberry | This is a disgrace, local football clubs are always the ones to suffer by these councils. Good luck with this all the best Andy (Leatherhead Supporter)
Paul Griffin | With more and more concern about the lack of fitness of our youth to lose a vital sporting resource within a local community is nothing short of criminal. If Burgess Hill are to be shown the door at Leylands Park to make way for more housing then the least the local authoirity can do is find them a new home within the home that will benefit not just the club and its supporters but the whole community. A football club is not just part of a community it can be the heart of the community.
Mark Wilson (West Bromwich Albion fan) | This should not happen to a historic part of the local community, wherever it is. I have heard Burgess Hill are doing much better this season too. A crying shame. I wonder what the local council has to say about this.

| 123 | Raymond Dennis | To lose any community based, successful sports club is sad. To lose one in this manner is criminal.
I fervently hope you win this battle.

Chris Jebb | Grass roots football should be supported, not destroyed! This would an act of vandalism on the part of Mid Sussex District Council. You should be encouraging people to become fit and healthy, not take away facilities for a short term gain.
Vicky | One of the friendliest and real community based clubs I have visited with Kingstonian. The work grassroots football clubs do for the benefit of local people, particularly, youth, should never be underestimated by local government
