| 1251 | john boynton | dont give in. fight the council all the way. |
| 1252 | Ron Alexander | I can see a time when all that matters is Housing, Housing, Housing
but this must not to be at the expense of something else like a sports facility like Burgess Hill FC
Hands Off BHFC |
| 1253 | Rich Hammond | Yet another district council trying to ruin Sussex football. Shame on you Mid Sussex DC! Just who do you represent? If it's essential that you build houses on Leylands Park, then it must be YOU that finances and builds a new stadium in another part of the town. Good luck BHFC. |
| 1254 | Jimmy Mitchell | |
| 1255 | Malcolm Stephens | Instead of evicting them, MSDC should be supporting the Club as a valuable ambassador fro our town, in much the same way that Eastbourne Borough have been supported and encouraged to thrive. If MSDC can afford thousands on a misconceived "Culture" show in Haywards Heath they can support the valued and successful Hillians. |
| 1256 | Reuben | Hands off council scumbags!

| 1268 | H. Ford | I used to be able to come to B. Hill to watch the team with my brother, and to support something good from my home town. Although no longer in B. Hill, we both follow the results with interest, and would hate to see such a great ambassador for the town disappear. Local Housing opposition is unfair as the ground and team were there first, and we have felt for ages that the MSDC has treated Hillians unjustly. |

| 1273 | Roger Feest | As a fan of all grass roots football and beyond, i find it amazing that this stance is being taken by the council. In an age where all sport volunteers are trying to get children and adults out and excercising, why would a council want to pevent this happening. We all know that sports venues are not plentiful and the cost of relocation/ newbuild schemes are extrordinarily prohibitive. I have been involved in trying to get a new facility and believe me councils seem to like it when someone else is paying to build leisure facilities that they have a duty of care to provide for the population within their boundaries. If this grand old sporting club has nowhere for it's six teams to play, then shame on a council that obviously doesn't care about the residents that enjoy the facilities and the sporting participants that will be denied playing at Leylands Park for another 125 years |

| 1279 | sue williams | For a club this size it is a disgrace that once again areas of sport are being taken away for yet more housing development. |
| 1280 | Anonymous | The future of Grassroots football does not need the council to make silly plans like this. Football is the biggest sport in the UK and should be backed by councils. |

Pull yourselves together MSDC and help find a solution that allows you to capitalise on your land financially and allows BHFC to retain their status and existence. |
| 1296 | Peter Dudley | I am both deeply sadened and angry at the way the council are dealing with you. I came to Burgess Hill afew years ago for an FA Vase match againest Tiptree United and was made to feel very welcome by everyone there so I am very upset by this story. You have my support thats for sure and I have sent this onto many of my fellow football fans who im sure will help you too. All the best. Pete |
