Kieron DugganThis club as operated in your region for 125 years. Look at what it provides to the locals, 6 teams competing regularly not to mention training, fundraising etc.It is PART OF THE COMMUNITY and needs to stayy! The very best of luck.

david mannit would be a sad day to loose something that creates its own communtity and that entertains hundreds.
AnonymousGood luck. Hope it all works out.
RussPoxy Council. I bet they bleed all the BHTFC fans dry through council tax. Hope you save the ground - nice friendly club and a decent ground when I visited
David BlackmanMid Sx Dist Council should be pro all sports including Football! Why dont they help fund BHFC? Not try and destroy it.

Adrian JacxsonAs an ex resident of Haywards Heath perhaps I shouldn't be a supporter - but as a fan of all non league fottball & having seen my home town club ( Chelmsford City) struggle for years due to local Council lack of support - I am amazed at this short sighted attitude by the famously inept MSDC. Ofh for the days of Mr Hanford as District Planning Officer - he would never have let this happen!
arfajob01125yrs of history. Come on be serious and do not evict the club that serves the town.

calvin sweetmanthis is a total injustice this must not happen good luck from every one at Rottingdean Village F.C
Steven ChadwickTHIS IS A DISGRACE AND YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF COUNCIL'S SHAFTING THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITY FOOTBALL CLUBS! MY TOWN GOT SHAFTED BACK IN 1994, I HOPE BURGESS SURVIVE!
Jon HerbertBuilding on an important community facility, ridiculous.

AnonymousIt's all been said before but local football teams add colour and focus to the local and wider community. Just like our school playing fields they should be protected, even subsidised....certainly not destroyed.
Peter RobinsonOur school fields and local teams are all important to the identity and character of communities. They should be protected. We must value our "open spaces" and encourage leisure and sporting activity.
Phil Busby
Theresa ReedWill there be anywhere left to play sport in 50 years time or will every inch of green land be covered in houses and tarmac!

Louise HinkleyIt cannot be lost, have some sense Mid Sussex Town Council and actually do something for communities for a change...
Karen HebbornPeacehaven & Telscombe FC
neil mossPlease rethink and resite the housingdevelopment on some surplus farm land
Robin BaileyThe Mid Sussex District Council are showing a contemptible disregard for the people of Burgess Hill and for 125 years' of folk history. The community doesn't need yet more houses built for private profit that will not benefit local people one iota. It DOES need its football club. Councils exist to help the local community, not destroy it. That's why you were elected, Mid Sussex District Council!
AnonymousI think burgess hill need leyland's park to give the club a future please to take this facility away from us
John TowerseyI am a supporter of Dartford F.C. where we are lucky enough to have a Conservative Council with vision. They built our new stadium as well as other sporting and leisure facilities in the Borough and all residents can see and enjoy the benefits that they bring. In this day and age where the government want all people young and old to eat healthily and keep fit, local governments need to embrace this and not build on every piece of land that becomes available. If your council supports your club as they should it will benefit the whole borough provided they have vision and invest in inceasing the facilities on offer. Very best wishes to all at Burgess Hill F.C. John Towersey.

J Shepherd"Money is the root of all evil" How profound, it's sad to see that this saying is so true. The young should have their pitch to play on and Mid Sussex District Council seem to have no sense of right or wrong. They can build almost anywhere they choose so be kind, leave the pitch alone, for goodness sake...
