Save Burgess Hill Town Football Club!!!!!!

The petition

Burgess Hill Town football club's future is in serious doubt, after the Mid Sussex District Council served an eviction notice to potentially build houses on the pitch. The 125yr club is one of the most successful sides in Sussex. They currently run 6 sides including a ladies team. Many of you have either played for "The Hillians", against them or have just heard of them. I am sure for the people that know "The Hillians" you will agree that they have hosted some of the best players/teams in Sussex even the U.K and this must continue to happen.

Burgess Hill have provided so much for so many people over the years and we must provide the opportunity for future generations to play our nations game at grass root level at Leyland Park.

"The Hillians" have until 13th October to leave Leylands Park, so please could you sign this petition as a way of protesting to the MSDC against the shutting down of Leyland's Park.
