   Comments: Appalling behaviour by the Council on two counts; - the fact there is a lack of youth facilities around the country as it is... youth dissatisfaction and disconnection is one of the biggest problems facing us as a society - also that there is no alternative acommodation apparently on offer.

   Comments: I have been in guiding and scouting for more than 20 years and in that time I have seen many units closed, mainly for lack of leader volunteers. Never have I seen units closed because of nowhere to meet. This is a travesty of the rights of the child.

   Comments: I think it is disgusting that the council are even considering knockingdown the scout hut, everyone talks about the youth of today, well what chance will they have if old institutions like scouts, guides etc cannot take place.

   Comments: I attended many different things at these huts during my youth, & it would be a real shame if they were to go. Children today have so few places to go where they are safe as it is

   Comments: I support the Scout Movement and ideals. To be practical - would the council consider funding the building of alternative facilities Or if the land is privately owned would the council insist on the owners providing new amenities.

    Comments: At a time when children are being drawn into petty crime and other anti-social activities it is essential that Scouting/Guiding be allowed to continue to give them a healthy alternative. Scouting/Guiding provides kids and young adults with a well balanced view of the future; by promoting self expression in a healthy & safe environment while introducing them to life skills which will alter the future for everyone around them. Why demolish this last link with cultural/societal normality - especially when those you propose to house in this area will add to the already booming population of potential deviants

    Comments: I think the council should rebuikd you a new hut elsewhere and the say they try to give children somewhere to go and something to do, by taken your hall away they are doing the opposite. They need to get the priorities right and knocking the Scout Hut is not one of them.

    Comments: those huts have been in brwood for ages my mom and auntie went there. there part of brewood soil and that coror wil look dull and boring with some posh ass houses its like taking the ice out of ice cream if u knok em down you better buy a good gum gard
