michael a labat | if you do not need bret anymore do no be scared like a little bitch release him this goes to everyone who has the power to do so rogers is a good player but not proven never will be a patch on brets ass
Anonymous | Brett Favre had an awesome season and had he decided to come back he would be the starting quaarterback of a team that competed to play in the N\FC championship game after a few years of moderate success. With the youngest team in the league Brett Favre and his team of young and amazing players rolled on in their division. How do they expect Rodgers a first year started(who has been injured when he has needed to back up the legend Favre) to get them where he had? They would rather be content in saying we are confident ROdgers can win us 8 games? That isn't enough 13 wasn't enough to win the Super Bowl? WHern I watched the PaCKERS THEY WERE SO AWESOME WITH WHAT LOOKED TO ME AS ONLY TO HAVE BEEN PLAYING AT ABOUT 85% OF THEIR POTENTIAL.

Anonymous | Is Aaron ready or should we consider one more chance for the ring. I love to watch Brett on the field. He is the best and I would love to see him with another ring. He's the guy. Give him another chance. On the other hand maybe Brett should start as backup because as we all know, Rogers is accident prone and Brett will be out there anyway. Go Pack and GO BRETT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe Shadle |
Mary I. (Nowicki) MIlls | Let Brett come back until he is ready to leave football altogether. I know this is hard on everyone, but this is a guy who put his heart into the game. There are too many other people in sports who do it only for the money & not because they enjoy the game the way he does. During the past season I have had many friends who switched from rooting for their team to rooting for the Green Bay Packers. All of this because Brett was the QB & Green Bay knows how to play a real game. Let's do it again!!! End of the Great Cheese Depression of 2008. Amen!
david depreo | Either be with him or against him. Either start him or don't be scared and release him.

Anonymous | Don't blow this opportunity - Start Favre !!!
| 212 | Alex | Bring Brett back.
13 and 3 last year |
Ryan Pattee | Brett has made the packers who they ate today. Let him come back and give us one last bowl!!!
Jason Young | This is crazy Ted, who gives us the best chance to win a championship this year??? Rodgers can wait another year, what has he done to earn the starting job besides being drafted by you? Put aside your ego and let Brett come back as the starter!!!! He is a hero to so many around the world, stop the disrespect and welcome him back!!! One of the greatest QB's of all time should not be treated this way - if you were ok with Brett starting in March you should be ok now. It's a blessing to the organization that he even wants to come back....let's make a run at another SB!!!!!!!!!!
Kyle Peterson | TT, its an absolute joke you're treating an icon of the Packers this way. Talk to him and tell him you want a ring and Brett just may go and get one for you... good luck with Rodgers!

Anonymous | Brett is emotional and always has been. He wears his heart on his sleeve. He was honest and really thought he should retire. He is now being Brett Favre - he is wearing his heart on his sleeve again. He deserves to come back and he deserves the chance to play. It's his life. He has given his life to the Packer organization. He redefined the Packers. Who cares if everyone went through the ups and downs - we all went through the ups and downs with Brett all along. It's really not uncharacteristic of his personality and that's what his fans love about him. Is it ideal - no. But would it be fun to have him there again - absolutely.
Faraz Syed | brett come the fuck back and take us all the way
nick stamates | let him play!!!! he's the only reason I get excited about football. Im a Bills fan but I have nothing to cheer about so I watch the packers just to see brtt play. last season was great!! let him play
Julee Miller | where's the problem? this should be a no brainer!!!
scott blackbourn | I LOVE THE GREEN BAY PACKERS AND I WANT NOTHING MORE THAN ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP BROUGHT BACK TO TITLETOWN AND IF BRETT IS THE BETTER OF THE TO QUARTERBACKS AND GIVES US THE BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING NOW THEN I WANT HIM TO PLAY AND I WILL CHEER FOR ROGERS OR WHOEVER IS THE NEXT BEST QUARTERBACK PLAYING FOR THE PACKERS WHO GIVES THEM THE BEST CHANCE AT WINNING. I JUST CARE ABOUT THE PACKERS.
Anonymous | Please bring Brett back! He is still the best and we need him for our Super Bowl run!
Hank Hofmann |
Devin | Favre has done too much for the Green Bay franchise to not receive a release. His remaining career is limited by time, and to take away what little time is left is a crime.
Anonymous | Retiring is a hard decision to make. I was not a sports figure, but it was hard for me to pull the pin.

robert smith | bring brett back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matt Ruppert | Brett has earned the right to return as starting QB for the pack. The fact is he is the best option to win now so the fact that they are even questioning whether to let him start is a joke. Thompson is just trying to make a name for himself with Rodgers and that will blow up in his face if Brett doesn't return to carry the Pack. Rodgers can wait a little longer. He has the patience and should step up and say "bring back the hall of famer"!

kyla welch | LET BRETT FARVE COMEBACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe Tate | Let Brett come back. Its the best. I am a stockholder and will be voting against the current board next time if he is traded.
Larry Johnson |
Henry Dondlinger | Allow him to come back and EARN the starting job.

| 237 | Bill Walker | A proven winner vs a ?
Do what's best for the pack! I don't understand how on May 6th he was good enough to return as the starter and on May 7th he's Rodger's backup? Make you want to reevaluate you management teams judgment. |

Kelly Schwab | Either take him back as starting QB, or release him. By not releasing him to play for a team of his choosing, you're admitting he's that good. Take him back, and you'll get 150% from him. You called his bluff, fine, but Rodgers is an unproven commodity who has already been injured. Brett has more than proven himself. Don’t cut off your noses to spite your face. Put an end to this ... either take him back or release him.
greg mcginley |
June Jordan |
Tom Price | Keep Brett in the Green and Gold! Trade Aaron.
Anonymous | Brett Favre should not even have to worry about being the starting qb!!! Ted Thompson is in the best interest of the organization? Call me crazy but there is no way rodgers will be able bring the pack as far as FAVRE. It's so obvious and yet seems to be such a topic of discussion. As far as the media goes, you all are pathetic blowing everything out of the water and its getting rediculous. There wouldnt be such a craze about this if they would keep their 'opinions' and so called "facts" out of the public eye. Bullshit!!
steven schumacher | this is a no brainer. nothing against Rogers but Favre gives GBP their best chance.
