Rick ThompsonI guess, that by now, it is evident, the Packers want to move forward to wherever that might be but, definitely not towards a championship or the possibility of a Super Bowl appearance. Makes me want to change my last name.

Rich WickesbergWhich one of the three stooges will get fired first? Thompson, Murphy or McCarthy More Like Duey, Cheat are Fans, and How!
AnonymousOur focus now is to get Ted thompson fired!!!!! Go to www.petitionspot.com/petitions/FireTedThompson
Paul MerkleI have been a Packer fan my entire life and I am disgusted and disillusioned with Packer's management.
Virginia GregoryI hope the Packer management is happy. Wether they want to believe it or not Brett was ours. That meaning the fans, the state of Wisconsin, and the spirit behind the Packers. I firmly believe that the Packer's managment and Mike McCarthy should be let go because it's clear that they didn't have the Packers best intrest at heart. Brett put the glory back into football, simply by his style, and heart. He was our legecy and he should be going into the hall of fame as a Packer not as a Jet. Thanks a lot Packer management. You suck!
Anonymousthe management sucks, hope they all are packing their bags!!!!!!!!
SHELLEY MONTERWAY TO GO GB MANAGEMENT I'M SURE WITH THE WAY YOU TREAT YOUR PLAYERS THAT MAYBE MORE PLAYERS WILL THINK ABOUT IT AND PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE TOO. I FEEL BAD FOR THE PLAYERS AND IF BRETT WANTED TO BE A JERK HE COULD HAVE COME TO CAMP BUT HE RESPECTED THOSE GUYS TOO MUCH TO RUIN THEIR CAMP WITH ANY FURTHER DISTRACTIONS. TOO BAD THEY WILL PROBABLY FINISH 6-10 THIS YEAR BECAUSE MANAGEMENT GAVE BRETT THE GREEN BAY SCREW JOB
Waldo ElorzaAre Ted Thompson crazy?????? Favre played NFC Championship game 8 months ago!!!!!!
Kyle Seyerthis is a bs siuation and ted mark and mike are all dumbasses

AnonymousThe stipulation that the Packers put into the terms of the trade is pretty harsh. If the Jets trade Favre to the Vikings (or Bears, or Lions) then the Jets owe the Packers three 1st round draft picks. Ouch! A question to consider: If Favre was such a threat within the division with a Packers rival as to prevent a trade within the division, why wasn't he considered as much an asset by the Packers?
brad olsonMy great great grand kids will HATE Ted,Mike,Mark
AnonymousI am terribly upset and disappointed about how the Packers organization has treated the greatest all time quarterback in history. I'm so sad to see him playing for another team, but happy his wishes are coming true and lives another day to play. Shame on you Thompson!!
JacksonThis needs to now change to a petittion to ++++++fire Ted Thompson++++++. The most inept handling of a player situation - and most of all disrespect to the history of the packers organizatrion, the intelligence of the fans, and the legacy of players who gave and give it up on the field of play for the team and those who "used to" stand by it.
Sarasave brett!!!!
AnonymousI was already disgusted by the way management handled the entire situation and treated Favre...but now to see the local media outlets supporting the management and beating on Favre is just ridiculous. He gave you 16 years of everything he had, and now the Packers have handled Ari Fleischer to assist in their public image? Leave the man be and let him go play his game where the management appreciates him! I have lost any respect (over 30 years worth) I had for what the Packers stand for and who they are. Good luck Brett, we will miss you here but will cheer you on wherever you play.
AnonymousThe press conference with those 3 bozo's was a joke! I hope they'll be leaving GB soon as they are an embarrassment to life-long Packers fans and to the Green Bay Packers name. Why don't they just admit that they wanted Brett to retire and that he never was welcome back? That is the truth! The fans are the ones who welcomed him back with open arms and management's claim that they are looking out for the team and fans is bogus! They are hurting both! Good riddance to the 3 Stooges! When they are gone, I'll be back!
AnonymousFire the whole bunch!
Rose WilburThere is no way Green Bay should allow a legend to not be allowed back on the team. Packer fans should boycott the games without Brett Favre.
fern schumakersome one needs to get rid of management
AnonymousWhat a travesty! Brett has done his job, he has been a good man. The only thing he has done wrong, was to wear his heart right out on his sleeve and let people know his emotions...he tells the truth, at one time in our country's history this was a good virtue of a good man. Brett is a good man and he will be sorely missed. Nothing against Aaron Rodgers...this is all about Teddy Thompson! Well the proof will be in the pudding, if the Pack fails to make the playoffs...it will be apparent that the Pack should "move on" and fire Ted Thompson, Mark Murphy and Mike McCarthy! If they have a winning season; all the more power to them, but it does not excuse the way the treated a good man and a great football player. We liked Brett as a player, but we loved him as a human being. Again this is the biggest travesty in sports history, Bad for Brett, bad for the fans, bad for the packer oganization and bad for pro foootball! Shame, shame, shame shame on you Ted Thompson!

Nancy BauerFor the Packer management to treat the greatest QB there ever was with so much disrespect should be enough to get Thompson, Murphy and McCarthy fired!!!! I will be rooting for the Jets this season!!
AnonymousFuck off you Brett fags!!
anonymousGo to www.petitionspot.com/petitions/FireTedThompson
ChadBrett Favre deserves better treatment than this. As long as Ted Thompson is the GM I will not watch a single Packers game and will boycott any trip to Lambeau Field.
AnonymousPackers management can say anything they want and remain as suborn as they have. The bottom line is that they have disrespected Brett and the fans. And may never regain respect for the kind of actions they have taken. If Brett was so negative or didn't want to play he could have done some real damage when he was in Green Bay Tuesday, instead he has remained composed. It was really saddened me to see what management has done to our Packer Nation.
walterUnbelievable. How can you trade away the best quarterback of all time. Several people NEED to lose their job for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Julie Gutowski
Carrie McCrayThis is by far the stupidest decision I have ever seen made. Fans will suffer emotionally and the shareholders will suffer financially. Management should have put their egos behind them - they should be canned!
AnonymousLIARS!! ALL OF YOU LIARS!! YOU THINK YOU CAN GO IN FRONT OF A CAMERA SMILING SAYING EVERYTHING IS FINE WHILE IT'S NOT!! THOMPSON AND MCCARTHY WILL ROT FOR ETERNITY!! IT DOESN'T MATTER IF FAVRE PLAYS WELL OR NOT. HE HAS EARNED THE RIGHT TO NEVER BE TRADED. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!! IT'S TIME TO BOYCOTT THE PACKERS FOR A SEASON AND BECOME JETS FANS UNTIL THOMPSON IS FIRED!! BAND TOGETHER MY FRIENDS!!!
AnonymousNice one Ted. Brett would have felt welcomed if you weren't trying so hard to get rid of him from the get go. I guess your plan worked. The next person that's going to lose their job in GB is Ted Thompson. GO JETS!

Colorado Packer FanTT, MM, & MM, hop on the train and ride it clear out of town. Your seats have been reserved in the STUPID car. It will be leaving soon!
Jason GerkeI know its too late, but I support the cause. I will follow Brett's career no matter where he lands. He represents what the sport is about. ( heart ) I will also cheer for the next to take Brett's spot. Rodgers was put in an awkward position and handled it well. I understand why management did what they did...its just sad they couldnt use it to thier advantage. Like maybe play Favre and Rodgers? I hope the Jets go to the Superbowl so Brett can have his day in the sun once again and maybe this time ride off into the sunset at peace with himself.
Ron Biskobing
AnonymousI think the Packer management should be fired. I Ihope Brett takes the Jets to the Super Bowl, and the Packers fail Nothing Against the players......just want to stick it to management.
Anonymouswhat a screwed up top brass bunch of asses, fire them all mccarty is a moron send him to coach high school football, dont even think he can do that, farve is and will always be the greatest quarterback in the nfl,but he will show packers org. that he can beat the best of manning and brady. Good luck Brett thanks for everything, you deserved better
Peter JohnstonGood Luck Brett. We love you.
Packers SuckFarve sucks, is he going to cry again next time he retires?
JimI blame this entirely on the GBP management, they have OUTRIGHT lied from the very begiinning. I for one will never believe a word any of them say, it sickens me at the mere thought of them being in the same atate I am. They are NOTHING more than BACKSTABBERS!! I will NEVER watch a packer game again, I will not purchase anything with the packer name on it. I will boycott everything they do. The fine people of packer nation simply do not treat human beings in this manner. I hope the packers lose everything that matters to them, I hope thier stock plummets while Bretts memorabilia sky rockets. They need to be chased out of town. We do not neeed or want them here. Packer nation is not made up of filthy low snakes. FIRE THEM!!!!! They are ALL egotistical fools who will SOON find out they will be losers this year, now only money, fans, and most importantly RESPECT!!!
