I live in wisconsin, been to several packer games, i graduated high school in 1992, the same year favre finished as the leader of the Pack. Im a packer fan, but I guess, im a bigger Brett Favre fan. I won't set foot in Lambeau field again if they dont release Brett so he can at least play, he did enough for GreenBay, without him, they would still suck as they did before he arrived. Favre 13-3, NFC championship, Rodgers (LOL) unknown, gets hurt puting on his jock. It's a no brainer, he played every game since in Green Bay if they dont want him, let him go play for another, his skills are still there. Manning and Brady are the only two quarterbacks in the league who are better than Favre at this point. I think they should retire Thompson, he has been trying to push Brett out since he was named GM. And a bit of a warning for Thompson and Mcarthy, just wait and see what happens when you surely decide Brett can't play. Looking at an 85% or more pissed off royaly fan base. And for Aaron Rodgers, I would hate to be in his shoes |
Anonymous | Aaron Rodgers sucks, Brett will be starting in September.
David |
Devan Larsen | Look at what he has done for you in the past. You knew he still wanted to play. Let him start and be the best thing for you team to make the super bowl. That is after all what you said you would be doing for the team.

steve dossey | Put Ted Thompson's misguided ego in place and bring back the best quarter back for the Packers for 2008....Its that simple....why risk the upcoming year with and injury prone QB with little experience and two ok first round draft picks? Its Ted Thompson's ego that needs to go...

Mark Bell | Think about what it was like being a Packers fan pre-1992 - let's do the right thing and bring back the man who made us proud to be Packers fans again!!!
Jason Anschutz | Brett Favre needs to deflate his HUGE head!
peter miller |
Case Druyff | Let him Start
larry walker | let brett play
nfn kalyan | If Brett Favre goes to a team other than the Packers, I will root for that team to beat the Packers as long as he is there.
trystal taylor | we love you brett!!!!!!
brent baker | well i think that if he wants to come back then let him! my thing is that if ted and mike tried to get ahold of him late march and brett wanted to stay retired then i think it was to soon to ask. they should have waited until the football hype begins in late june early july. aaron is only like 25 or 26 and i personally think he will be a good to great qb in the league. plus he will get his chance plus it is nice to know that you have a next qb in line to replace a legend and that hasnt happened and worked out since steve young and he sat a little bit behind montana. the biggest thing for me is that i know they want to move forward with the future but if brett comes back "are you better with him or without him." with the chemistry that he has with the team and a super great year last year i dont understand why u wouldnt. plus he has never given less than 110 percent and is always commited to playing at a high level. i think it would be great to make one more run while you can. go brett and play your ass off and hope to see you come out that tunnel and make people cheer and cry bc of the competitor that you are. go pack go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tim Bauer | One more year for Brett and I think then he can retire for good. Rodgers needs to wait one more year and then he will be able to take over the quarterback position for the Green Bay Packers football team. I think Brett has one more good year left in him. Brett finally has that "itch" to play again. Come back for one more year Brett and the Packers will be a great football team with a excellent possibility to go the Super Bowl berth.
Jordan Teague | Either take him back as the starter, or let him go somewhere that wants him. He does not deserve to be benched or forced into retirement with all of his talent.
Anonymous | Brett Favre deserves to play out his contract. Bring him back as starting QB, even if you have to play him for the first half and Rodgers for the second half.
Adam Scheafbauer | Bring him back now!
Anonymous | Brett gives us the best chance to win in 2008 end of story!
steven | super bowl
Robert and Shannon Grotbeck | Please let Brett come back. He's meant too much to the team, league, city of Green Bay, and the state of Wisconsin to allow anything less
Paul | I would love to see him play another year. He is great to watch.
Shane Gregory | Take him back...your goal is winning championships...Brett gives you that....
Chad Ramaker | This is not about Brett. It is about winning games! Now and in the future.
Danny | Back off Thompson!!! Go Brett!
Andy Suchorski |
David Jon Hauschild | The man can still play at a high level, so let him play.
Kathy | Come on, Brett has earned the right to waffle on his decision . . . being such an emotional guy should not be held against him and only shows his passion for the game. Get over yourself TT
Mark | He's a LEGEND!!!!
Adam | This website is great! I think brett is the best Q.B ever and he deserves the right to start for the packers come this season.
Eric |
Isaac Liou | Nobody lets a legend at his peak..walk
Mark Eckblad | Brett gives us the best chance at a title in 2008. That's reason enough to forgive and forget.
david kirchen | BRING HIM BACK!!!!
Kelly Glover | Brett is loved by all the Packer fans--he is a role model and awesome player--he deserves to play and deserves respect that Ted Thompson is not giving him. Bring Brett back and get rid of Thompson if he is the one with the issues.
Anonymous | Packers- field the best team you can in 2008!
| 42 | Anonymous | He has led the packers to 11 playoff appearances in 16 years with them. He's been selected to 9 pro bowls. Only 3 time NFL MVP. Fans adore him, and that an understatement. He lead the Pack to the NFC championship last year with one of the youngest teams in the NFL, while having one of his best years in his career.
What has Rodgers done to earn the job? I'm not saying hand the job back to Brett but at least let the best man win. What kind of message does that send to the other players on the team, that it doesn't matter who's better for the team but who Ted Thompson likes more? |
Brian Horn | Brett Favre=3 time MVP...i think aaron rodgers will be very good...but brett favre is the heart and soul of not only the packers..but the nfl...he honestly is the NBA's version of Michael Jordan
Erik Turner | BRETT IS GOD I WISCONSIN AND YOU CANT JUST GIVE AWAY GOD
Anonymous | I wish u all the best, and i knew thisw would happen.
Scott Bergren | Brett is the better quarterback and he should play. Its simple if you want to win then let Brett play.
Eric Geurts | Brett deserves better than to be shunned by a team he has provided so much for. Let the guy play if he wants to play. He has earned it. Brown County residents, you know in your hearts you want Brett for at least 1 more year.

MES | I have always been a big Packers fan, but somewhere along the line I became an even bigger Brett Favre fan. People can talk about his indecision if they wish, and about how he is hurting the Packers and Aaron Rodgers (others' words, not mine), but where is the talk about how selfless he has been over so many years, and how much he has given to and done for the organization? I'd love for him to be the starting QB in GB again, but I fear he may not want that now. If the Packers aren't willing to welcome him back in the right way, they must be happy with things how they are. So, allow Brett to be happy, too? After all, Ted Thompson cares so much about Brett, which continues to be so evident. I am hoping #4 comes back so I can get NFL Ticket again, as I cancelled it after he retired. I'd get it to watch him, wherever he plays, and I hope the day he finally retires for good I will still have the Packers as my favorite team in any sport. I didn't think that would ever be in doubt, but it now is.
