Name: Ruben Valdez on Nov 16, 2012Comments: Why would the city of Dallas erase a piece of aviation history? Braniff helped bring in untold millions of dollars of revenue to Dallas. The amount of goodwill, advertising etc that Braniff brought to the city of Dallas cannot be measured. It would be a waste of a valuable piece of Dallas' history to erase it.Flag

Name: Mary Thies Creason on Nov 16, 2012Comments: I worked for Braniff for 30 years and they were the best years of my life and I still run around with people I worked with at BN. It was a wonderful company and a real part of Dallas History and so much good came out of Braniff for all the other companies in the USA. We were the second largest company to go out of business after Chrysler but Iacoca took a bale out from the government. However Braniff did not but the Judge who handled case said that US companies could not use pension plans to run their company as BN had so it benefited all of USA as it was put into law.Flag
