Frans MicallefNow that MEPA is under the control of PM this should be an easy task to abide wit this PETITION ?
Mark CamilleriAll high officials in MEPA should resign immediately over the lies they made that MEPA will now reform itself. MEPA is still the same as it was: a contractor's agency for development!
Albert Gauci CunninghamDo we really need Astrid (though many thanks Astrid for doing a marvellous job!!) to tell us that our villages are increasingly looking like one big concrete jungle!!!!! One typical example is the barren space between a main rd (Valetta Rd.) and homes in Mosta known as Blata L-Gholja..............a wasted wasteland of dirt, weeds and debris...........Garden?????? Why do we need gardens??? We do have the highest population density in the E.U and it seems we like flaunting it!!!!!!!!!

Ray SultanaA few months ago, just before the general election, the prime minister promised us that he would be taking care of malta's environmental problems and that we should not take malta's beauty forgranted... yet once again the speculators are being allowed to rape malta as they please, with the helping hand of Mepa. It's about time this shameful situation stops before there will no more 'beauty' left to save.

caroline portelliWhat a shame !!!!
margaret camilleri-paceThis is a disgrace and all MEPA members should be made to resign. At this rate we are not going to have left one square kilometre of unbuilt land. Isn't it enough that the once beautiful Sliema has been turned into a perpetual building site. Shame of MEPA

Paul XuerebAt a time when it has become all too clear how much the people of Malta require more open spaces for recreation and mental health, and when it has become equally clear that the seemingly endless building projects have begun to suffocate this country, it is shocking to see that the Ta' Fgieni open space is being given, with dubious respect for proper procedures, to yet another developer. The movement to resist this sorry project merits the vociferous support of all thinking men and women in this country.
John Aquilinaleave attard free from development...PLEASE

Tim CollierThis all sounds a bit suspicious. Shouldn't this be investigated by the ombudsman or an independent commission? It is important in a democracy that all forms of governance are seen to be transparent and in the best interests of the community which it represents.
