Name: Murray Forbes on Dec 3, 2007Comments: albert's is a local tourism and unofficial historical site for Pt Edward and Sarnia. They have been running 75 years total with the last 50 being under the great blue water bridges. Rumors are floating around of kickbacks etc., but who really knows But, why else would a first rate business not be re-licenced. They need a lawyer, and fight back.Flag

Name: Wendy Archer on Dec 3, 2007Comments: How like the bridge authority to do away with a tradition that has stood the time of serving the people like they have for years. Our family has always enjoyed going for "fries" IF their lease is not renewed I should hope all "fry" vendors are not renewed. They were the first after all.Flag

Name: Philip Blair on Dec 3, 2007Comments: I would expect that the Bluewater Bridge Authority would need to produce a damn good explaination for not renewing a lease for a local family business that has been paying lease to them for $50 years and is such a large part of the community's culture! What's going on BBAFlag

Name: Linda Coulter on Dec 3, 2007Comments: Somewhat unbelievable. The original chip truck under the Bluewater Bridge denied their lease. I emphasize "their lease" because it should have been reissued under the grandfather clause. The Bluewater Bridge Authority should reconsider the situation. Clearly they made an error and should be resposible and mature enough to undo what they have done. Linda CoulterFlag

Name: Colleen Martina on Dec 3, 2007Comments: This is the main reason why me and my family visit Pt. Edward. We stop in for fries from Alberts Rolling Lunch (no mater how big the line), by far the best tasting and most reputable name in the business. This should be a no brainer. Wake up.Flag
