| 1058 | Robert Husted | The set photos of the film look amazing. We don't need another dumbed-down kids movie. Warner Bros. may have gotten something rare in this world from Spike and Dave - an artful kids' movie. Give it a chance with the public before throwing it away. |

Leave the film the way it is.
Sendak supports it, leave it at that. |
| 1062 | timothy sears | The book is dark . . . this aint f-ing Narnia |

| 1068 | John | If Sendak approves of Jonze's vision, then let it be! Or at least come out with two versions of it... "real" version and the "kiddie" version. Besides, kids need to grow up sometime anyway |
| 1069 | profiterium | Let Spike do his thing. |

| 1074 | Kristin Jacque | I would take a child to watch a darker, scarier version of Where the Wild Things Are. Children's films in the 1980s often dealt with very dark issues and contained scary scenes, yet many of these are considered modern classics. Where the Wild Things Are has the potential to join them. Please just use the reshoots to fine-tune the special effects and don't change the current tone or overall vision of the film. If it is dumbed down, I have a feeling it will fall flat with all audiences, like the recent release Speed Racer. |

| 1076 | spencer drew bogart | I believe in the genius of Sendak, Eggers, and Jonze; preserving their original vision for the "Where The Wild Things Are" film is the responsibility of Warner Bros. The source material wasn't immediately accesible upon its initial publication, but the book has since grown into something special to a great number of people.
KEEP THIS ONE GENUINE, PLEASE. |

| 1083 | Johnny Luu | This movie has a specific audience. If you want our money we demand to be respected and get the movie we're expecting.
Changing it will not make it anymore appealing to those not interested in the first place, but less appealing to those of us who are.
Leave it as it was intended to be! |

| 1085 | Ray Barrett | leave genius be!
The test shoot clip alone was better than any potter/narnia/eragon/spiderwick production i have seen.
Children of today need their own great film. |

| 1087 | Dan McGovern | This film could really be something amazing. Maurice Sendak knew that. That's why he chose Mr. Jonze, one of the few artists who could actually do it real justice. But I suppose what's more important is the Burger King tie-in. For shame. |
| 1088 | Joel | |
| 1089 | Ashley Burnett | Please keep this movie how it is. A mature movie directed at an adult audience about a children's book is a rarity. Please let us appreciate Eggers & Jonze's fine work! |
| 1090 | Sarah Kalpokas` | "I think kids these days need their own “Dark Crystal” to love AND be afraid of, and they should love to be afraid of it. Leave the movie alone and let kids decide what is too scary for them."
