As fans of Unklejam, we the undersigned are deeply upset by the decision of Virgin Records to withdraw release of the album, UNKLEJAM. We feel that more time is required to let the world know about the uniqueness of this enormously talented group. Time, Virgin Records does not wish to give them. It took several albums to get the late, great Bob Marley and U2, who are still going strong to get off the ground. Unklejam has not even released a single album! Fans travel from all over the country to see this truly amazing group perform. Their music is beautifully soulful, their live act, superb and unparalleled. We have all eagerly awaited the release of this album which has been pushed back several times before. To have it pushed back again on the eve of release is something we are not prepared to tolerate. How much longer do we have to put up with this corporate madness We have a very great emotional and financial investment in Unklejam and call on all the people involved at Virgin Records UK to initiate immediate action to place the album UNKLEJAM on release, once again.
