| 152 | Ruth | Rodriguez | CA | US | Our local high school wrestling program was cut two years ago. Once they are cut. It is even twice as hard to get them re-started. |

| 155 | tod | hall | | | Hope the wr program survives!!! |
| 156 | Michael | Richardson | CA | US | My daughter, a wrestler entering her junior year in high school, has expressed an interest in UMM. That interest is entirely due to the wrestling program. Scratch one recruit if the program dies. |
| 157 | Gail | Wolfe | MI | US | Please keep wrestling at UMM. Especially, keep the women's program. Women's wrestling IS growing! |
| 158 | Michael | LaBrosse | CA | US | UM-Morris should retain both Men's and Women's wrestling programs. By retaining both, you will help in the Title IX compliance for your school.Wrestling has a long history of great Americans that competed in the sport. Each of them identifies wretling as the defining factor in building positive characteristics in their lives.
Sincerely, Mike LaBrosse

| 159 | Eric | Stafford | IA | US | It would be a travesty of justice if this, or any wrestling program were cut due to title IX restraints.
I believe that women deserve the same rights as men in athletics and every other aspect of life, but doing so at the expense of men's athletics is wrong. It should be up to the school which sports they sponsor.
Clubs are available for nearly all sports that can't be officially sponsored by a college, so therefore it is not as if the athletes that are "in jeopardy" of not having scholarships are unable to compete.
If the government is going to interfere in college athletics, they should fork out the money to allow schools to fund all sports, regardless of the participants' sex.

| 160 | Ruth | Hobeika | MA | US | It is so detrimental to the sport of women's wrestling to abandon the program that started it off. Please don't let this happen. |
| 161 | David | Muscat | | CA | I wrestle for the Lakehead University Thunderwolves in Thunder Bay, Ontario and Have had the privilage of wrestling aginst the Univeristy of Minnisota Morris in Dual Meets. The represent pride, class and true sportmanship as well as superior athletic ability. It would be a shame to take away an athletes dream. |
| 162 | Mike | Jones | ME | US | UMM is giving into all that is wrong with affirmative action. Do good by your state and by you morals, and dont do such a stupid move, that will hurt you in the furute

| 163 | mary | wainwright | NY | US | |
| 164 | David | LaChappelle | MA | US | wrestling is the best part of my life. I know for many wrestlers it is the same way. What a horrible way for a wrestlers career to come to an end |
| 165 | Jarett | Curtis | FL | US | |
| 166 | Margaret | Scott | CA | US | I have fives daughters, one of which has found her niche and a passion in the sport of wrestling. Because of this passion she has focused on continuing her education at the college level mainly so that she can continue to wrestle. This sport has increased her self-worth and confidence. She works harder in the academics and her grades are proof. While her older sisters slacked off in their final years of school, she continues to excel. I credit her participation in the wrestling program to this. More doors have now been opened for girls in this counhtry through this sport, please don't shut out the opportunity for these emerging athletes. And finally, with the addition of Women's wrestling in the Olympics, shouldn't UM Morris take pride in being the fore-runner of women's wrestling?
Please reconsider the cancellation of both the men and women's wrestling program at UM Morris.
Thank-you |

| 171 | Daniel | Folden | WA | US | Our family has benefited greatly from the maturity and discipline that our two boys developed through wrestling. Both wrestled in high school. Our oldest son wrestled throughout college. It is a great sport. It is very sad to see opportunities to wrestle reduced. |
| 172 | Jess | Leon | WA | US | Yo any college that has a wrestling team will get my support. Save UM-Morris wrestling teams. |
| 173 | Jesse | Shim | | CA | Wrestling is just an amazing sport. Without it, life would not be the same. It helped me build character and helped me form new bonds with my teammates. Wrestling also helped me with my academics since if I had low marks I was suspeneded off the team until the marks raise. If you take away wrestling, you take away a piece of someones life. |
| 174 | Afsoon | Johnston | CA | US | I have visited and seen your beautiful campus first hand. Had it not been for wrestling, I and many others like myself would never have heard of UMM. Your school would lose out on a lot more than just a wrestling program if this sport is cut from the school.

| 175 | Cameron | McElhany | MN | US | I am a former UMM wrestler (85-88). |

| 178 | Ron | Holdgrafer | IL | US | |
| 179 | Dennis | Bunting | FL | US | I am familiar with the Program and former athletes at UM-Morris. I can speak of nothing but praise for what it has done for one athlete in particular. Please do not drop this program. Were there is a will there is a way. The economics of the situation go against all that I have heard thus far for the reasons being stated. Wrestling is not just a sport but and art that has been around since the days of the first olympics. It is a sport that instills competetiveness and gentlemen-like disciplines. We cant afford to lose anymore of the values that this activity teaches in our society today. Get with it you decision makers and do the research and quit thinking with your pocket books. Thank You |

| 194 | Caroline | Hulett | SC | US | I am siging this petition because I want to be a wrestler. Even though my state does not offer it, and I have never even participated in an event, I have been looking at UM-Morris to provide training. It is fair just to end someones dream for a couple of dollars. I don't think so. |
