| 102 | Katherine | Huemmer | MN | US | This would be a severe loss to UMM- not only of excellent athletes but of a great coach as well. |
| 103 | Pat | Ackroyd | MA | US | |
| 104 | Casey | Ingle | MI | US | |
| 105 | James | McEnanly | MI | US | |
| 106 | Bryan | Rogers | MN | US | Eliminating the wrestling programs at UMM would be cutting off your nose to spite your face. They do more for the reputation of your school than any other athletic program you offer. |
| 107 | Melody | McCague | | CA | |
| 108 | Emily | Gulbrandson | MN | US | |
| 109 | john | burke | | CA | I have had the opportunity to train at the UMM campus and have met coach Reese. It would be a shame to lose such a valuable member of your university family and a real pioneer in the development of student athletes. |

| 111 | Miguel | Matta | | | |
| 112 | John | Willems | IL | US | |
| 113 | Steven | Kahn, M.D. | MA | UK | This is definitely the wrong approach to solving your financial woes. Seek positive solutions not negative actions! |
| 114 | James | steinle | MN | US | This is a pretty sad statement for a University of Minnesota School....
As a youngster I watched umm wrestling, as my brother was captain of the 4th place ncaa team.
shame on this administration |
| 115 | John | Johnston | KS | US | The comment about declining interest made me laugh. Wrestling is comes in fifth in student participation at the high school level and continues to hold strong to that position. Why don't you just admit that you have an agenda rather than try to rationalize your decision. |
| 116 | Tom | Sewell | WA | US | Yes,
Even in Wash. St. we have taken notice of UMM wrestling, particularly the succes of the women's program and the tradition of the men's.
Please don't let the lack of vision of your athletic director eliminate two fine programs.
Sincerely,
Tom Sewell
M.S. Athletic Administration |
| 117 | David | Laird | WA | US | Keep the programs. Quit hiding behind the political & economic rhetoric! |
| 118 | Melissa | Stanton | VA | US | being a female wrestler myself i would hope a program as strong as this would be around after my high school career |
| 119 | Hailey | Dermott | | CA | wrestling is one of the best things in my life. during the season, i eat, sleep and dream wrestling. nobody should be able to take it away from UM-M with only a signature. |
| 120 | Pamela | Wright | | CA | I'm a forth year female wrestler in Ontario, Canada. I think that wrestling is one of the hardest, yet best sport in the world. It requires body, soul, hard work, dedication, and most importantly, brains. It has helped me to think on the spot, whether I am on or off the mats. It has improved my academics because of the contiuous training that my mind endures. Wrestling is not just a physical sport. It is also mentally demanding aswell. If wrestling can help me this much, while requiring so much effort, it's worth while keeping around. |
| 121 | Keith | Jameson | NH | US | Let them wrestle!!!!!!!
|
| 122 | Donell | Bradley | HI | US | |
| 123 | Larry | Allen | MN | US | I've been coaching for 17 yrs. All of this time I've had at minimum one girl out for the sport. I now coach a regional training site for women in Mpls. girls drive from 5 to 100 miles to practice with other females. MN/Morris is and was a good role model for the young girls who enjoy the sport and had an Ave. to wrestle in collage. I have six Jr.s in high school who will have to look to Canada to full fill there dreams of education and olympics.
Please reconsider, what next. Sports are a draw and a excellent guide to life experiances that help us succeed in the real world.

| 124 | Tim | Bruce | CA | US | |
| 125 | Kelly | O'Connor | NJ | US | Wrestlers are the hardest working Athlete's I know.
I don't believe Men's or Women's Wrestling programs should be cut in any school.
Discipline is lacking in students, & athlete's, but all wrestlers need it to succeed in the class, & on the mat.
SAVE WRESTLING!!!
Thankyou |
| 126 | Gayle | Poepping | WI | US | I do not want to see Morris let go of two of the greatest sports they have going for them. I still drive back to see all the home meets even though I live in Wisconsin, so take into consideration that there are those of us that support the teams to our fullest! |

| 129 | thomas | miller | MI | US | Morris has long been the leader in womens wrestling and should this program fold it well seem like we are taking 3 steps backward where we finally seemed to take a step forward,if there is anything i can do and or say please contact me for suport. tom |
| 130 | Adam | Cook | MI | US | to drop the wrestling teams at um-morris would be a shame, and would only lessen the quality of the your instituion |
| 131 | Katie | Ross | NC | US | women's wrestling will never get bigger if the few programs are being cut |
| 132 | Lucas | Scharmer | MN | US | Wrestling has made me what I am today. |

| 137 | Larry | Nugent | CO | US | Save U of Morris Wrestling. Take the time to learn about how important wrestling is to the athletes and the community...make sure you aren't simply acting on behalf of an uninformed administrators whim about which sports advance the mission of the school. |

| 140 | Richard | Moore | OK | US | |
| 141 | Jim | Fritz | MN | US | Very diappointed in UMM's choices. Doesn't anyone in the public have a say about our state universities. |
| 142 | Robin | Schwieger | MN | US | |
| 143 | Richard | Price | CO | US | Wrestling should not, under any circumstances, be eliminated from UMM. UMM is considered to be one of finest schools in the nation to have both a women's and men's wrestling team. Drop wrestling from UMM,ridicules! What fool thought of that?
Richard Price |
| 144 | Robin | Pilger | WA | US | UMM had been on the short list of colleges for my daughter (due to be graduated in 2008.) |
| 145 | Desiree | French | TX | US | |
| 146 | Tammy | Terry | OH | US | Wrestling is a great sport. The men and women work hard and are among the best athletes in the country, it is a shame to lose these fine programs. |

| 149 | Steeves | Volmar | MA | US | I wish schools would stop cutting sports due to Title IX or budget cuts. Sports should be added, for men and women.
Students pay to attend college. Colleges should honor their obligations to the students because without them, the schools are nothing. Student-athletes, male and female, are NOT expendable. They should be valued and appreciated. |
