The building itself has great character and Derby has lost enough off it's grand old buildings. I had my wedding reception there also, so it holds great nostaligic value. Not just for me but for many of the people of Derby also, for many and varied reasons. |

The Vic is Derby's only real live music venue, yes other places to hold occasional gigs, but every city has to have a signiture venue, the vic is derby's, what other venue in the world can you walk along side the live band to go to the toilet?!
Destorying the Vic with damage Derby in the future much more than help expand it. |
