AndyMitchellUKYes, save the vic. As late as this may be.
JonJoBealThe Vic gives young bands in Derby to opportunity to start playing shows... this sucks...
SophiaH
PhilGarrettUKDestroy the Vic Inn and you've destroyed another part of ska culture, a genre already on a fragile footing.
AlexTownsendUKYou can't destroy THE BEST venue for music in Derby. It's just not right.
GenevievePreece
AaronKitchen
mikaelanadenUKfuck derby city council
HayleyRobinsUKSAVE THE VIC!!!! ITS ONE OF, IF NOT THE BEST SMALL VENUE IN DERBY!! IT SUPPORTS ALL THE LOCAL BANDS AND THE STUDENT POPULATION WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT IT!!
PaulFirthUK
CharlotteMarsh
GeorgeHarrisUKi believe we have to stop another faceless office block going up or even the apartment block that every person can afford hmmmmm
benridleyUKModernisation ? you got that in the centre ! leave it alone the vic is legendary - nuff said
RichardSpencerUKThe Vic is one of the main reason to come into Derby.

andybarkerUKHas derby not got the idea we need old buildings to give the place some character not new rubbish that need replacing every 15 years !
RebekahBarkerUKI don't want to see the Vic destroyed. It is a great pub full of atmosphere and fun. Great people and great bands. The building itself has great character and Derby has lost enough off it's grand old buildings. I had my wedding reception there also, so it holds great nostaligic value. Not just for me but for many of the people of Derby also, for many and varied reasons.
shazrajaUKyou better keep it open!
ShaggyPettittThe vic is a legendary place and holds so many good memories for everyone, so don't close it
GrahamSellorsUK
PaddyWestUKThe Victoria inn is one of the most important music venues in the UK. It attracts bands from all over the country and provides a venue for young people to express their musical telents. It attracts people, who would never have any need to visit the city, into the area. The city of Derby should be proud of this institution and not be sacrificing it for the sake of rail passengers who will be in the area outside the train station for no more than a few minutes.
WokIs Dead Stagnant CultureUKNot progress. Railways are.

MatthewKerry
DanielAllsopUKThe victoria inn is a well known and respected venue for many bands and fan's threwout the UK, it even attracts bands from USA and other country's. The Vic is Derby's only real live music venue, yes other places to hold occasional gigs, but every city has to have a signiture venue, the vic is derby's, what other venue in the world can you walk along side the live band to go to the toilet?! Destorying the Vic with damage Derby in the future much more than help expand it.
RebeccaHigginbottomUK
KristianLaneUKAn office block will in no way enhance the station area.
DougBertieUK
davenashUKmany good bands have played here and has lots of memories to everyone so dont close it please
