| 151 | Miriam Laskey | Cutting the newspapers will soon be visible as a very false economy! They are a strong mission. Be kind to our members and allow the papers to survive - MEL |

| 157 | Rev. C. H. and Mrs. Marjorie Powles | As seniors we find the internet almostg impossible to manage so depend on the printed word. The cancellation of the Journal and diocesan newspapers would be a traumatic event for us. |
| 158 | H. Peter Schaub | What other media, besides the Anglican Journal and local diocesan newspapers, is to speak clearly, freely, decisively for God???
CBC? CTV? Vision Channel? Our national newspapers? Think again.
Think again when the last time was that you viewed, read or heard our national media speak clearly, in a supportive manner on Christianity, on things of the Spirit?
We need the Anglican Journal and diocesan newspapers to speak decisively, unfettered by the pressures of the market place, and, for that matter, by the interference of primates or of bishops.
We need the Anglican Journal. We need diocesan newspapers!

| 162 | Hazel MacKenzie | We Anglicans need to remain connected. In this wonderful but vast country of ours our national and diocesan newspapers are essential in the effort that we remain informed. |

| 164 | Cindy Price | Dialogue is key to keeping the network of Anglicans alive. |
| 165 | Fred Stephens | As the new managing editor of the Saskatchewan Anglican I can only heartily endorse this submission by my colleagues, and pray that there will be sufficient understanding of the consequences of a budget cut to the Anglican Journal that more rational means of meeting the fiscal and financial requirements of the Anglican Church of Canada will be sought after, and hopefully found. |
| 166 | Elizabeth Falconer | I am almost 89. The Sower ( in Calgary) gives me half a day of interesting reading. I could not read it if it was on a computer ! |
| 167 | Paulette Perram | The papers are an essential tool for communication. |
| 168 | charmaine pope | We need the diocesan times and anglican journal and all similar types of newspapers becaeuse they offer information, keep anglicans informed of what is happening within their church and offers debates on subjects of importance to all anglicans. Without these newspapers it will allow a small group of anglicans both locally and nationally to control what information is being passed to the majority. There are lots of place where the anglican church can cut back to find the money needed to support our newspapers. |
