Help Save Brian Stevens' Position at SFA

The petition

Many of you may have already heard some information regarding Brian
Stevens and his position with our SFA Band family. We wanted to get you
informed with as much correct information that we have to share. About 1
1/2 weeks ago Mr. Stevens was informed by Mr. Leach that his position with
SFA would be eliminated and he most likely would be reassigned. This same
action is being taken with his counterpart at Elkins HS. Mr. Leach was not
able to give Mr. Stevens much more information than that. It was explained
that the district was reviewing all of the para-professional positions in
the district and that since none of the other high schools in the district
had this position then it only made sense to eliminate it.
