We, the undersigned, petition the Council to have a brand new Primary School in Shawbury.
The only way forward is to close both schools and open a brand new school with equal opportunity for everybody in the village of Shawbury.
For the sake of all children involved we want to merge both schools and make a brand new one. NOT for either school to close and be taken over by the other school, causing conflict in our local community.
Thus ensuring all children feel secure in their environment and anxieties caused by political issues are reduced as much as possible.

I have been meeting with local families who are terrified about the long commute their children will face if this school is not built. The council remains silent on our request but they cannot ignore the growing pressure from our neighborhood much longer.

Seeing this kind of movement in our village proves that families are ready for a fresh start instead of lingering school rivalries. It means everything to see our neighbors agree that the children deserve a united environment rather than more division.

The council really needs to wake up and look at how many families are moving into this area. We need local schools.
The village is growing so fast, it makes no sense to not have a primary school here. My kids have to travel so far every morning.
Ridiculous that we have to drive 20 mins just to get to class. Build it in Shawbury like it should be.
About time! This place is getting way too busy for the current setup.

Too many cars on the road because of this. Keep our kids local!!!
