| 705 | Adam | Gillan | | CA | By limiting/restricting beach access, the problem will not go away. The proper route for private land owners to take is via the local surfrider chapter/association. My recommendation is to start a fundraising campaign to fund proper pathways for public beach access (like in Oahu,Hawaii). This will eliminate unwanted traversing accross both private and resort land.

Development often times isn't the problem at all. It usually is the total disrespect for the environment and individual rights to use the ocean in a non-destructive manner, freely.
Money,greed, and unchecked power are the combined destructive forces that are in dire need for resistance and education.
Only through education will coastal access and destruction issues ever be solved.
Organization and Education are the keys to positive solutions. |
