Comments: Dear Prime Minister, I would greatly appreciate it if could take a moment to consider the health of the Australians that you represent. Please ponder the consequences that would result if a large corporation such as Woolworths was able to own Pharmacies. Everyone is aware that Large Corporations have one major focus, and that focus is Profit. When profit is the sole goal of an organisation, quality healthcare flies out of the window. Its that simple.

Comments: Woolworths and the like have muscled their way into both the petrol stations and liquor outlets of Australia. However, savings or increased customer service have failed to come to fruition. Thus, what benefit will Australians see from this newest corporate attack

Comments: Pharmacies should not be owned by supermarkets as they are not interested in patients but only in making money for shareholders whatever that takes.

Comments: We need local pharmacies to provide the personal service, help and advice that we want - as consumers and as community members who want to look after our families. I don't want to deal with a spotty teenager stacking supermarket shelves when I have a health question or concern. I want to deal with a trained health professional that knows what they are selling and the health benefits it can provide.

Comments: Australian Health will be in crisis if participants such as Woolworths and other corporate parties are allowed to serve the community on health matters. Pharmacy is part of Australian Health and has a right to be preserved to benefit the community of Australia. Don't let the global competitors dabble with our health matters for the sake of profits! Yours sincerely, Paola Martinez
