Name: James Tait on Mar 31, 2011Comments: I was in this building the last time it was open during the fringe and it is well worth saving. It is a disgrace that an investor has deliberately let it rot with every intention of dertroying the fabric to beyond reasonable repair for their own profit. An unworthy owner should be forced to sell a historic building ASAP.Flag

Now every day i walk past this it saddens me that such a beautiful building has been allowedd to get so damaged. It deserves to be restored to its original conditionFlag

Name: Gavin Boyter on Apr 6, 2011Comments: Remember many happy evenings spent here in my youth. At the very least, it could be redeveloped / reopened as a modern cinema venue (with ancillary revenues from a restaurant / bar). Just needs a bit of bravery and imagination and a willing investor!Flag

Name: Pamela Mitchell on Apr 8, 2011Comments: I have been going to this cinema since 1964, it's such a beautiful building and has as much history as the Dominion. So many of our historic buildings keep being lost this way, eroding our city of stunning architecture which is what makes Edinburgh the beautiful city that it is. Please don't let this happen again, please restore it to it's former glory, it truly is worth it.Flag
