We the undersigned petition the Rensselear County Legislature to increase their support of Hudson Valley Community College by 3 million dollars per year to match the contributions of other Counties in NY to HVCC. We urge the legislature to not risk losing an estimated 10 million dollars in sales tax generated by the presence of HVCC which would be a major blow to Rensselear County’s economy.
