The King Building, formerly the Ryan Block at 104 King Street is a building of historical and architectural significance in the Exchange District. It is in a prominant location and adds greatly to the streetscape of the Exchange District - a future world heritage site.
The owners of the building are asking the City of Winnipeg to delist it as a heritage building which would leave it open to demolition.
Please show your support for the continued protection of heritage buildings in the city of Winnipeg by petitioning the City not to delist the King Building. |
