Cardiff Model Engineering Society has applied to have a large
extension into the woods at Heath Park. This would mean a
detrimental impact of the landscape of the park, greatly
restricted access to woodland area, a loss of many trees and
pruning of others, a danger to wildlife habitat and a possibility
of hazardous waste being spread. The peace and tranquility
enjoyed would be lost. There will also be a loss of open land.
We, the undersigned, are opposed to the Planning Application allowing Cardiff Model Engineering Society to develop a further area of Heath Park Woods. We also object to the disposal of the land in question by the Council and Fields in Trust
