Name: Gina Pantone on May 27, 2003State: ILCountry: USComments: When I first gazed upon the Field Day Fest lineup, I was amazed. For years I have been envious of European-sytle festivals, and always hated the typical corporate sponsored, untalented "popular" bands, violently ended, rehashings of former festivals (woodstock 2000) this country had to offer. I called some friends and planned a road trip from Chicago to New York, a state I have alays envied with its art and music support my whole life. I was more than pleased to be a part of this music phenomenon and dream bill...in my own country no less! If this is cancelled, it would just prove to everyone that the United States is incapable of anything genuine, and cheapen this country even more.Flag

Name: Darren Shapiro on May 27, 2003State: CACountry: USComments: I specifically decided to spend my summer vacation in your lovely town because none of these bands are violent or hateful. They are peace-loving, Tibet-freeing, environmentalists who want to bring some good vibes back to festival-going. I can't say the same thing about Metallica's big summer festival with Limp Bizkit (The band who asks Woodstock 99 goers to "break shit". Take a listen to the lyrics of these bands or check their websites to see what they preach.Flag
