Scifi would be out of its mind not to continue the fifth season, and to yank the rug so harshly out from under the creators, cast, and crew, who deserve so much more respect. Comments: Farscape represents the potential that the medium of television possesses. Intelligent, witty writing that doesn't talk down to its audience. Excellent acting by a cast of professionals that clearly possess an understanding of their characters and a love of the material. Production values that bring to life worlds and events that can only be imagined in one's wildest dreams. All of this has existed on Friday nights for the past 3 1/2 years. A brief respite from the tedium that is network television and a shining light of originality in an increasingly banal medium. Alas, we are told it is all to end. Do not cancel Farscape. Have courage. Explore what the medium of television can achieve. This series has not yet run its course and to pull the plug now is tantamount to ending the production of the Star Wars Trilogy in the middle of the 2nd episode. Scott Gipson A current Sci Fi Channel fan who will become a former fan should this decision be carried out.
