Comments: Losing the character of Coney Island is also a loss for the future development, and future generations. Coney Island is the Grand Central Station and the Brooklyn Bridge of amusement parks in America.

Comments: Hotels and or condos on the north side of Surf Ave; ample parking is a must in the new plans; a high rise adjacent to Keyspan Park will result in smashed windows and injuries (I have season tickets and at least 10 foul balls fly into the parking lot each game denting cars and causing window damage).

Comments: Coney Island is a national treasure. Not only should it be preserved, it should be expanded and improved upon (in the fashion that inspire it originall). Shame on city legislators who believe otherwise.

Comments: This is a local, state, federal and global issue. It is a microcosm of what is the dismantling of what little local culture is left in many places. Eventually, no one will have a reason to go anywhere. It will all look like one big hotel/shopping mall.

Comments: With the economy in ruin, and many new "luxury condo" developments in the neighborhood already, that are going unsold and many more developments still being built, Coney Island does not need more condos! It needs to be redeveloped as an entertainment destination, restaurants and hotels are necessary!
