    Comments: As a BSU Alumnus, I BEG you to PLEASE bring back the "old" Charlie!! He was and remains a beloved fixture of our athletic programs. The "new" Charlie does not even seem to begin to fit the bill. His eyes are creepy, and he was not as active on the field during the game. I don't know how, why, or when this decision was made, but please respect the fans by bringing back the Charlie we love!! This is NOT an improvement, and some things are better left alone. If it's not broken, don't fix it!

    Comments: As a former Charlie Cardinal, I am sad that Ball State chose a 'goofier' looking mascot image. "Classic Charlie" was not agressive looking (a la Univ of Louisville) or funny looking. He was a versitile character that was recognized as a symbol of the university. Charlie has changed over the years, for the better, and I feel this is not one of those changes. Bring Back Classic Charlie!

    Comments: He totally sucks! If I was a child, I would be scared of how he looks now. He looks like he will attack someone suddenly. Sure, I can live with the new body and tail, but the head gives off everything. The old Charlie is more genteel and handsome. No wonder I can't find him on Facebook. even if I did find him, I won't be friends with him.
