Comments: What a great club. What a great sport. What an amazing way to keep our youths ocupied and off the streets taking drugs. To shut this place down would be a crime of goverment and the people behind these actions should be ashamed of themselves. Comments: We need this track to survive and move forward. This track and club has a rich history of producing champions. Take this away we have nowhere for our future generations to ride in a sport which is growing in popularity. Motocross is a healthy family sport which caters for all ages of Men , Women, Boys and girls. Riders at a top level are elite athletes that would train up to 6 Hrs a day. Mcadam park has a rich history and has been there for a long time. National and international riders have rated Mcadam park as one of the best MX Tracks in the world so as a community we must embrace this venue so we can give our future generations access to a world class facility. I am embarrised for this volunteer based club they have to be dragged thru this exhaustive process when they could be using their valuable time with programmes for the kids and improving the club on the whole. Councils need to stand on their own too feet and when they are on a good thing to run with it, this track is a huge assett for the Geelong / Surfcoast region with lots of race meetings attracting people from all over state and country needing accomodation and places to eat which is great for our local tourisim generating revenue for our community. Issues lke this should come back to common sense not flash laywers and money. The simple fact is the track has been there for alot longer than the residents who are complaining and knew the track was there when they purchased their propertys. (Take some responsibility for your decisions) The council needs to get behind and support this club and realise what a unique treasure they have.

Comments: Dirt bikers need safe legal places to ride, and this place has been used for this purpose for many years with alot of history attached. If you don't like motor bikes don't buy land next too a motor bike track, simple really !!!!

Comments: Must be saved. There are enough problems in society with bored young people; closing this complex will only provide one less activity for local kids to be invloved in.
