| 4252 | Rachel Paluch | I have been asthmatic all my life. (I am 53) Since the Government forced the switch for asthma inhalers I have increased my nebulizer use by almost double and have already had three rounds of burst and taper with steroids. Also the new inhaler requires several puffs for the same effect as one puff of the old type of inhaler. I want to know who I can sue for this assault on my health and well being. | NH |

| 4261 | Anonymous | Agreed, since the inhalers have changed I need more of the medicine to get the same effect and use the inhaler more often. When experiencing an asthma attack, you have reduced airways which makes it more difficult to deeply inhale the medicine. The inhaler provides quick dispersement of medicine that with reduced airways, makes it hard to achieve full lung capacity; unlike a nebulizer which you can slowly breath and eventualy recover from the attack. | VA |

| 4264 | Sandra McHale | I nearly choked to death
after using ProAir and I
am not going to try any other inhaler with HFA in it, I feel that a class action suit is in
order as Obama is not acting on this problem which is a life and death issue...all change is not good!!! I have filed my complaint on line with the FDA as well, does anyone have a
direct line to the Whitehouse, I will be happy to let them know that I want the problem
resolved asap!!! | FL |

| 4268 | Nancy | The new inhalers do not help me. I feel as if I am suffocating. | FL |
| 4269 | brian parquette | new proventil cfc inhale no work the same, and does not work as good, this product is defective and should be recalled imediately | CA |

| 4271 | frank mawby | I now use Ventolin HFA which is more tolerable than others I have used but it is not a rescue inhailer, meaning it does not work quickly. A nebulizer treatment will work faster. I now depend on my nebulizer and prednizone for relief. At times I do use my inhailer it has made my breathing worse rather than better. I am going to be forced to buy a portable nebulizer so I can get relief when away from home. | MO |
| 4272 | Christine | They can disguise this as an environmental issue all they want, but as soon as I discovered these "new" inhalers were back to the top tier on my prescription plan, I quickly realized this was pushed through by the pharmaceutical companies & lobbyists that will benefit from gaining higher income from existing customers who have a chronic need. All the while getting whatever kick-back benefits surround a "clean air" improvement. ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE! | CT |

| 4274 | Chris Lott | Bring back albuterol, please! These new inhalers cost me 3x as much and work about half as well as the old ones. | CA |

| 4278 | Brian Bush | I have used both the ProAir HFA inhaler and proventil HFA inhaler.
I am not getting relief from my asthma symptoms using the new HFA inhalers.
The older type of CFC inhalers provided 70% more relief from asthma symptoms. | CA |
| 4279 | Christina Forsman | It feels as if our "NO TORTURE" country is not that at all. Not being able to breathe is a god awful TORTURE.. I hope for just one day that these people can have full blown asthma with no help with no asthma inhaler that helps. | GA |
| 4280 | Robert B Follett | PLEASE HELP ME BREATH! return Albuterol in its original CFC form not the HFA form that does not help me. | FL |
| 4281 | Tovah Whitesell | I noticed that I have to use twice as much from my ProAir inhaler than my old generic one. It also makes me cough now which makes the attack worse! I hope we can get a class action going to get CFC aerosols back in use. This is an issue of health quality and care not environmental lies. | WA |
| 4282 | Linda Davis | The new inhalers are absolutely ineffective for me. | TX |
| 4283 | Amanda Flagg | | MA |
| 4284 | Charlotte Thompson | My daughter has not felt adequate relief of asthma flare-ups since her CFC albuterol was replaced by HFA albuteral (Pro-Air) or Xopenex. In the past she felt quick and complete broncho-dilation after using her inhaler. Now she feels minimal decrease in broncho-spasm and horrible shakiness that interferes with her ability to attend college classes, so much so, that she often refrains from using the inhaler during the day. This only exacerbates her symptoms. | WA |

| 4287 | Amy | Pro-Air does not work and contains Ethanol! how can that be good! | CT |
| 4288 | Sarah Clark | These hfa inhalers are extremely ineffective for me. They do not open up my lungs and make me cough excessively. My asthma has steadily gotten worse since being on the Proair hfa inhaler. | AR |

| 4290 | Nancy Voisine | I was convinced that at 53 years old my lungs were deteriorating from my asthma (since the first of the year) and I was going to have to live with the tightness UNTIL i went on the web page and saw the thousands of other people with the same problem - the Pro-Air HFA inaler. | CT |
| 4291 | Anonymous | my daughter and I have tried this new HFA inhaler and it requires us to take much more inhalations and doesnt work to stop our asthma as well it also causes rapid heart beat, coughing, and simply doesnt work as well at all. I have had asthma as since i was 5yrs and now at 37 I am very well informed on the use of the inhaler and it simply doesnt last as long you get less medication for a higher price and it just doesnt work as well.... | CA |

| 4294 | Margaret Jones | MA |
| 4295 | Anonymous | We need the old inhalers. The new ones do not work . I have had to go on steroid type medicine since this change over. This is a very harmful medicine. I use to use 1 inhaler every 4 months. Now I need two a month and do not get any help from them. Please let us have the old ones back. | WI |
| 4296 | Brian MacManus | | IL |
| 4297 | Jean | Please bring back our CFC inhalers. We are not breathing w/o them. My daughter called crying, scared, and wheezing terribly late one night. She was having an attack and the new HFA inhaler "did nothing" to ease her struggle to breath. | NY |
| 4298 | Anonymous | I do not feel as the the HFA inhalers are as effective as the CFC inhalers. It is not that I am opposed to change, but feel that I need to use the HFA inhaler more often than my old CFC inhaler. .. almost like HFA propellant is not pushing the albuterol as deep into my lungs as the CFC propellant did. | MA |
