Nicole JamesThank you for doing this! My 9-year old has asthma, and had to switch to ProAir. It doesn't work the same...I know it, he knows it, but the doctor says we are crazy, and that it is the same exact medication.CA

Steven McCaslandMy dear friend had a very scary incident when her HFA inhaler failed to help her breathe and feared going to the ER. This is not going to help anyone... What is going on here, people?!NY
Gerry RasmussenThe new inhalers are not as effective as the old ones and with the infrequent use, except in case of extreme inability to breathe, they do not contribute much to the ozone. Please help save our lives, and money for emergency rooms visits, and let us have our old much more effective inhalers. Gerry RasmussenMN
VanessaI dont have asthma but a lot of my family does and they rely on their inhalers.. this is terrible, and is going to affect millions of people.FL
Talia E. MyresWhen having an attack, it's imperative to have an inhaler that works! We rely on our current inhalers. The new ones DON'T work!AR
Scott ColeME
Gloria MosesMy son has had asthma since he was 5 years old. The new inhalers do not do the job. The albuterol is the one that worked. My son is now 22 years old and has a real rough time with breathing. I can't imagine banning something that is so necessary for so many people.VT
Taquania JohnsonI hate the new HFA inhalers. This ban is to protect the the ozone layer. WOW!! I need this inhaler to breathe. Funny how they are taking away something that helps me breathe-Okay NEWS FLASH!! Government officals work on some of the enviornmental triggers so not so many people need to use them.DE
Tracy ScintaNY
Scott RichtmyerWhats the % CFC release by these inhalers....I'll tell you: insignificant! Lift the ban, this is ridiculous.CA
AnonymousI have adult asthma for 8 years. Need albuterol to help when having trouble breathing, plus on other medications for my asthma. Do not discontinue, please.IN
JoAnne WestI don't always get any relief with the new hfa inhalers. Bring back my old cfc proventil inhaler.AZ
Benjamin HendersonNM
B. HussWe mean less than nothing to the big drug company's. Inexpensive inhalers that control our asthma do not make piles of $$$$ for them. A new patent and 10 years at top dollar for patients is their major interest. Look at Claritin. A month's supply was around $35 before the 10 years were up. Last week I bought 10 tablets for $1.20. Lets hope our president and legislators listen to our pleas to continue with our effective inhalers. Can a class action suit be filed?????CA
Roberta A BondMy daughter suffered an asthma attack at college, tried the HFA inhaler for the first time IT DID NOT WORK! Luckiliy she had an old cfc inhaler but it was an hour away. Another ignorant government healthcare decision. On a side note, I can still buy aerosol hairspray, cleaners etc?!? UNBELIEVABLEFL
Anthony LittleFL
Steve WillingMD
Denise CaceresNot only does this issue affect humans it also impacts all of the animals such as cats, dogs, horses that are treated for conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, COPD. Unfortunately, they can't tell anyone the CFC free inhalers don't work worth a damn.TX
Melissa BradfordMy old CFC inhaler worked wonders whenever I had an asthma attack. I was put on an HFA inhaler recently, and even with following the instructions, I still really can't catch my breath. Why should we be stuck with a product that obviously doesn't work; what is it going to take get our old WORKING inhalers back? Someone dying?VA
AnonymousThese new HFA might work for many, but please leave the old ones available for those that depend on them.VA

KayMy husband has severe COPD. The Pro Aire does not work for him. The old CFC Warrick did a great job, and now it scares us to death that he can't get a breath in at times. He can not breath deep enough to us the HFA ProAire. PLEASE GIVE HIM BACK THE CFC WARRICK. IT WORKS. HE NEEDS IT TO STAY ALIVE. HELP !!!FL

Kelly FurrI am a runner, or used to be now. I have exercise induced asthma and have used the old inhalers once before/maybe once after i would go running and would be perfectly fine, i even ran the Saint Louis Marathon, and finished in great time and wasnt tired or winded at the end. Well that has all changed now. I didn't realize the inhalers had changed until i felt like i was suffocating the first time i used them and ran, i thought it was just a bad day. But no, it wasn't, and ive tried over and over to use them "correctly" as they say and they dont work, i can't breath after running 5 minutes, and wheeze the rest of the day. This is such a national/personal tragedy, i am devastated that I can no longer enjoy one of my favorite activities that makes me who I am, but I CAN give it up, but I am so sad/angry for all the people who cant breath on a normal basis now, breathing isn't a hobby, and now for financial gain the drug companies have decided to literally suffocate people to death.AR

Lisa BoatmanThis is exactly why we do not need an national health care system in this country. Give the reins to the government, and they screw it up. People come first in this country. You have made a grave error in your plan to remove the CFC inhalers from the market. They don't work across the board for all people. These were good drugs and necessary for many of us who have suffered with asthma through their entire life. I am 47 years old, and until recently an RN in an ICU. Don't tell me those inhalers work, I know when they do and when they don't. You are going to see an increase in patients being seen in the ER after Dec. 1. It is a health and financial travesty for asthmatic patients. Should you feel the need to save the planet in some way, find something else to do. I hear flatulence from cattle is hurting the ozone. Go sew up some cows asses and leave the medicine to the physicians and their patients.GA
Anthony ErbOH
Kathelene JoyceI feel that taking away my rescue inhaler and replacing it with something that doesn't work and that has sulfa in it, which many people are allergic too, including myself, is abuse of the disabled! It's as if they outlawed wheelchairs. I feel singled out and picked on because I'm sick. This is an outrage, especially when hair spray gets to stay!!!OR
Beverly RobertsThis Proair HFA inhaler is like not having a rescue inhaler. I have COPD and I also use Spiriva along with a cfc inhaler and it works well. But the HFA inhaler costs double the money and lasts only 15 days. I think if they want to cut down on air pollution cut out all these races and LEAVE MY INHALER ALONE> It goes in my lungs not the ozone!NC
Brenda ChanI want my CFC inhaler back!!!!TX
alan robertsNC
sherrisextonNC
Timothy A Bradleyi have tried the HFA inhalers on several occasions but they do not work near as well the CFC Albuterol Inhales doOK
Dean DeRenzoI have been using the Warrick and other CFC albuterol inhaler for over 30 years. I have allergy, exercise and cold temperature induced asthma. I am 46 years old and had this condition since I am a child. I was switched to ProAir three months ago and immediately noticed it wasn't working! In fact it made it worse. I can't get a satisfying breath. My breathing is very shallow like I have 50 % lung capacity when I use ProAir. This was never the case with Warrick. Now I am afraid to work out, run or do any intense activity for fear that I will not be able to breath! Why overall condition is starting to suffer as a result. Since I am 46 and getting older I had planned on continuing to work out an stay in good shape, but now I fear it won't be possible. It is a complete outrage that pharmacueticals were allowed to make this change and to charge 2 and 3 times the price! This is wrong, wrong, wrong!!!FL

AnonymousThe replacement for Warrick Albuterol just does not work! In addition to a higher cost, the inhaler just stops working. It contains less than half the medication at some four times the cost.GA
AnonymousMy daughter finds no relief from the new HFA inhalers. Please bring back the CFC inhalers to help her.She has used Proair and Proventil HFAs with no relief.OH

Paulette BradyI cannot use HFA inhalers because of allergies to the propellants. When I cannot get the CFC Albuterol anymore, I will die, and it will be your fault. You will be guilty of MURDER. Turn this around, guys, and let us have our CFC inhalers again.CA
