Despite, or perhaps because of, numerous professional arguments with Jon Bailey I have a great admiration for the programme he built up and the dedication of his students. They really do make a difference! It would be a very real economic, educational and intellectual loss to the state of Florida and the worldwide academic community if this programme were discontinued.
