Name: Leslie Senn on Feb 26, 2011Comments: To whom it may concern: The reason I travel frequently to Hudson and spend my money at local merchants and restaurants is because I enjoy the early architecture that one can find in Hudson. Hudson has already lost so many significant historical buildings already that can't be replaced. I can't believe the lesson has not been learned. Hudson has plenty of places to park, it needs to keep its architectural heritage a lot more than it needs another parking lot.Flag

Name: Michael Dolan on Feb 27, 2011Comments: Please do not allow this building to be destroyed. Part of the appeal of the Hudson Valley is its heritage and history and beauty. And it is buildings like this that make it, and Hudson in particular, so desirable. Hudson has been successful in the last few years because, unlike Poughkeepsie and Newburgh, it did not lay waste to it's architectural heritage in the name of urban renewal to the extent those two cities did. Thank you.Flag

Name: Sara Griffen on Feb 27, 2011Comments: It has been demonstrated time and time again that people seek authenticity when they visit a region, city or town. By tearing down buildings like this, we lose a critical part of our heritage and make Hudson that much less of an attractive, authentic place to visit and spend money.Flag
