1453 Justin TroustAs a small business owner, I believe it is in the best interest of the community to allow any enterprise to do business. 200 Orchard supports local artists in an independent and respectable way.
1454 Kat Obertance
1455 j. w. neumannI have been a tax payer in this neighborhood for over a decade. I will be honored to testify to the integrity of the management at 200 orchard, and to their support of local artists and endangered local culture in the Lower East Side.

1459 Bree DillonRidiculous to shut down this great bar.
1460 VELOLUTIONARY
1461 Kaos KnightThis is retarded, the orchard and other similar venues add diveristy to a hip hop and yuppy plagued scene. New York used to be gotham city when it came to all things Noir and now its becoming suit and tie upmarketed bullshit. Its stupid too consideing the lower east side has always been known for its subculture influence. Getting rid of the orchard would be a fatal blow to goths, punks and lovers of the non mainstream. New Yorks enough, dont make it worse.
1462 Shafer HallA fine establishment operated by fine individuals.

1472 sabine romanait is such a nice place! please do not permit its closing!
1473 Susan DuffyIf they've had no bar fights, and no noise complaints in almost the past year (unlike a lot of clubs that remain open!)....how do you justify saying that renewing their license is "not in the best interests of the community?'

1477 Jackie MancinoI had my wedding party there and the guys who own and run it only have the best intentions for the community!
1478 Morag McKenzieThere is absolutely no reason to revoke the license of a thriving well run business that enhances and serves the community the way 200 orchard does.It is just ridiculous that the sla are even considering this course of action

1481 Eleni DemakosKeeping in existence a social place to gather is a cultural necessity to benefit us as living breathing feeling individuals and to keep us connected in society, especially in a city of so many where people can walk on by an endless number of others though they are in essence faceless and nameless hence humanless so quick is the moment in passing. Thus please do not follow the trend to overlook giving the city a human common denominator by handing over a space like the lounge at 200 Orchard street to be up for grabs for those with mucb greedier intentions that have no concern for keeping the place where people live, one they feel is their own, where they know they can be comfortable with friends listening to music together. What could be better than a place like this? Please allow this friendly bar to stay in existence. Thank you, Eleni Demakos

1489 John O'FARELLThe Orchard Bar, is an oasis in a cultural desert. Could you imagine the comparison for instance if the Liverpool City Council , denied the Cavern a liquor license, the world would never have experienced The Beatles, and rock mucis would still be in the Dark Ages.

1496 Leathe AllardI LIVE on the Lower East Side. As a community resident, I support 200 Orchard and believe it is in the best interest of the community to keep places like 200 Orchard vibrant. If I wanted to live in a corporate suburbia masquerading as NYC, I would have moved to Murray Hill.
1497 Paul KeatingWe visited the Orchard Bar on my honeymoon last April from Ireland. Without doubt one of the highlights of our visit to NYC. Great atmosphere and extremely friendly bartenders. Ridiculous to even consider that this bar could be closed down. Shame on the NY Liquor Authority

1500 Aine O'DwyerAlthough I do not live in New York, I do visit regularly. On my last stay I spent alot of time in 200 Orchard and was very much looking forward to visiting it again. The staff & clientele were extremely friendly & polite, and I felt very comfortable there. As a tourist to your city I would be very disapointed if I didn't have the oppurtunity to visit 200 Orchard again.
