There is an enormous developement project in the works to rezone the penisula between Shore Towers and NYC. If it all goes thru there will 4 large buildings over 22 stories high. The largest will be 30 stories. Those behind this petition are not entirely against this project we are only against the height of the buildings which exceed 15 stories which is the highest building on the penisula at this time. We do not object to the schools, supermarkets, resturants and stores that are also included in the project. We believe the additional height of these residencies will cause overcrowding, excessive traffic and spoil our scenic views We are seeking residents also to join us the community board 1 meeting at the Astoria World Manor at 25-22 Astoria Blvd Tuesday May 21st at 6:30.
