Save Wigan A&E

1,667 Signatures Goal: 100

We the undersigned note the consistently good performance of Wigan’s A&E and the strong public support for this essential local service, note with concern the distance to other A&E services in light of the recent closure of other A&Es in Trafford and London and call on the Secretary of State to reject any such proposals in relation to the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in Wigan in order to retain a good-quality, accessible local service for the people of Wigan.

if the shoe was on the other foot and the people who propose closures had to travel 20miles when their lives depended on it wouldn't let it happen to themselves and their nearest and dearest ,

Stop the privatisation and marketisation of our NHS now. It's been going on to long and the people of Wigan must come together and demand the government put a stop to the rationalisation of our most valuable service.
The NHS will survive so long as people have the faith to fight for it, I am one of those people. When do we march and demonstrate outside our Hospital.

it should be noted that the 'Healthier Together' questionnaire is designed to confuse the reader. By choosing options 5.1 & 5.2 this could save not only A&E but other services currently offered by WWL NHS Foundation Trust.
