Dear Minister: Congratulations on your appointment as Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation. I look forward to having your strong, effective voice fighting for our needs at Queen's Park. As a resident of the Church Wellesley Neighbourhood, I am keenly aware that the size of my allotted public green space is equal to a sheet of letter-sized paper! For the past two years you have pushed to create a much-needed park at 11 Wellesley Street West. As our MPP, you have publicly declared your determination to create this park for your constituents. For that, we thank you. You are now in a position to make good on your promises. The site in question is slated to be sold to a developer but the deal will not close until the end of February. I urge you to halt this process so that you can review the transaction and make sure our crucial needs for green space are met. Minister, this may well be our last chance secure a park in this riding. Your constituents are depending on you. I encourage you to act before it is too late.
