    Comments: Since the recession Waterford has indeed been hit extremely badly but the proposed downgrading of our hospital is the final straw. If this happens then it will be disastrous for the people of Waterford and the surrounding counties. We can't allow this to happen!

    Comments: I personally commute 200 km a day to work in Cork because Waterford is being ignored on the job front with everything we have achieved over the centuries being slowly stripped away turning this great historical city into a ghost town with no services no hope and no future for our children.

    Comments: With the transport infrastructure, medical facilities and educational future at waterfords disposal it is totally unacceptable for this city to be so easily dissolved by stroke politics and inaction. If any member of the Dail had any intention of helping this country never mind waterford, they would be striving to save what waterford has, flood international media with adverts of what the southeast region as a whole has to offer with waterford being used to its full capacity as a gateway city to the southeast.
