Save the UCF Engineering Technology Programs

The petition

We, the undersigned, ask that you vote against the proposal to eliminate the Engineering Technology department within the College of Engineering and Computer Science. We believe that the programs offered are unique within the state and provide UCF students with a valuable opportunity to graduate with the skills necessary to achieve success in today's IT and related technical fields. Some of the programs are available to students online, allowing individuals from around the world to be part of our UCF community; where are these Knights of the distant realms to go? In addition, these programs have been in strong demand, and there is no reason to believe that enrollment will decrease within the foreseeable future.

For these reasons, we ask that you cast your vote against eliminating the Engineering Technology department and the programs that it offers.
