Comments: The Kelvin Walkway and views from Queen Margaret Bridge are what make this one of the most beautiful areas of any UK city and the building designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh has a chance of being recognised if the surrounding buildings do not encroach upon it.

Comments: I was brought up in Sauchiehall Street and Bearsden and my student `digs` were in Kelvinbridge and Kelvinside. Since the days of my youth, the beauty, wildlife habitat and amenity of this reach of the river has greatly improved. PLEASE ensure that new buildings are kept to a scale which enhances this improvement and doesn`t permanently blemish this wonderful area.

Comments: My wife and I walk the 'Kelvin Walk', as we like to call it, at least twice a week, and we introduce it to all our visitors. It must be preserved, indeed enhanced for future generations. It's an integral part of the 'West. end'.

Comments: As the person who started the Friends of the River Kelvin over 20 years ago, I love the Kelvin Walkway and the vioews both from it and of it, and would far prefer that the plans for the Old B.B.C. building be changed so these views could be prersedrvbed.

Comments: This is a beautiful part of the city and will be spoilt by the current plans. It is important that Glasgow City Council maintains the green spaces and lush green views that the city is known for. Investment should be placed in renovating old buildings to retain our heritage in architecture and keep spaces tidy.
