Not only would this mean less opportunity for everyone to witness magic happen in front of them in an amazing facility, but most of my dearest friends and loved ones in Vancouver make their living in the theater and dance communities, and this would mean less work for them as well. Vancouver NEEDS the Playhouse and somehow we need to keep it ALIVE and running! Please reconsider this and keep this very important venue open and filled with Life and Magic for everyone. Thank You.

I am among thousands who performed there and many more thousands who witnessed some great (and some not so great) productions, We must not let The Playhouse disappear. It is a part of our history, our heritage andd our memories!

    Comments: A world class city deserves to have a vibrant and meaningful cultural aspect. The loss of the Vancouver Playhouse would indeed be a step in the wrong direction for this beautiful city. Both BC and Vancouver deserve to have access to the dedicated professionals (and the companies within which they operate) who contribute to the artistic landscape in Canada. The Vancouver Playhouse is a valuable part of this landscape, and has been for years. Let's not allow it's legacy to be undervalued - it has much to offer us, and deserves to maintain it's proper place and function.
