Comments: I'd like to see an appropriate conservation/research strategy scoped & costed. This is such a well-preserved site that there must be excellent possibilities for sustaining a tourism revenue stream.

Comments: It's a shame, as usual, in Italy.. We've got the most important cultural sites in the world and we do not care about it. We are only able to build football stadiums, just for economic purposes due to mafia projects. Thanks to some private funds of industrial italian business men, the Ancient Coliseum will be restored. Italian politicians just have other interests, their own chair in the Parliament and nothing else. My personal thanks to Mr. Russell Crowe, who stimulated the interests of restoring the Gladiator's Tomb. Remember, "Vis et Honor". Peter Barzan
