Since January 2013 many members of the Woodthorpe community came together and decided to transform a once derelict, concrete mess of a shopping precinct into a bright, feel good garden. It brings so much joy to the community and everyone who knows the area appreciates the dramatic changes that have been accomplished over the 18 months.
Hi - I have just telephoned Willow Management and spoke to Alan Blake, who was not prepared to discuss the closure of Somersby Garden, but he did promise to send me an e-mail which apparently explains their reasons why!
Katie Wilson4 months ago Comments: Absolutely ridiculous that this landlord can be so narrow minded , not only does this fabulous garden benefit the community and business area it benefits him in the long run! You couldn't ask for better locals and businesses, it brings people that don't live in the local area to the street, I don't live in woodthorpe but now take friends up there for coffee and they have also commented on what a good little collection of shops and nice little garden. Really hope he sees sense!!
