I just got the news that the show is actually coming back and I am genuinely shaking right now because I really thought they were going to ignore us forever. My phone has been blowing up with messages from former contestants and people who just love music and honestly I …

The Sing-Off, outside of being the one of the networks 3rd highest rated shows commanding upwards of at least 4 to 6 MILLION viewers, is one of the most positive shows on television. It is an instrumental part of developing a stronger appreciation for the arts at a time when the teaching of art and music is under attack at almost every level.

While other entertainment venues of its kind rely on either negativity, or dumbing down of the skill involved in the art-form, The Sing-Off fosters a real standard of quality in those that tread across its stage. The past contestants of The Sing-Off have shown themselves to be resilient practitioners of A Cappella music and stalwart champions of music in education. They have shown depth of character in helping their fellow competitors, long after the end of their respective seasons. They have gone around the world to help show that music can truly be the universal language. Help this continue! Sign this petition, and help convince the NBC network that The Sing-Off deserves another season.

I was just looking at the ticker and realized we are creeping up on that twenty-five thousand mark so imagine what happens if everyone reading this just links the page to one group chat or social media thread right now. It honestly feels like the momentum is actually building for once because people are starting to talk about how much we miss the music on prime time television and I really do not want to lose this steam when we are right on the edge of getting some real attention.

I was just watching some old clips of the show and realized how much we really lost when they pulled it off the air because the music just hits different when it is all human voices. I have been spending my nights sending emails to networks and producers while ignoring my actual laundry piles because this feels like the only thing that matters right now.

I just blinked and saw the counter hit one thousand signatures which feels absolutely surreal honestly because it started as just me wanting to vent about the show being gone. My coffee is cold and my brain is still processing that so many people are actually tuning into this instead of just scrolling past.

Please bring it back this 2015 & beyond and not in a "Holiday Special" format! that was lame last season! A nice 6-week run would be awesome- this talent show is waaaaay better than american idol or the voice! Showcasing raw vocal talent and skills!

This is the only singing show that has true singing. Unlike all the rest who are bad excuses for thinly veiled commercialized screaming. If this show doesn't come back I will wave goodbye to musical integrity forever.

Sing Off is the best vocal show out there. I never watched a show that I wasn't impressed by the talent. The format is wonderful and it's lending a different flavor to the reality talent shows. Don't let this gem slip through your fingers; doing so would be a tragic mistake!

This show is wonderful, and should never have been canceled the first time. With Pitch Perfect 2 filming and Pentatonix being signed to RCA Records, interest in A Cappella is at an all time high. Not every season has to produce a new PTX to be a success. Bring the show back!

The sing off is the most entertaining and unique singing competition that requires a highly trained musical ear. Having a music background I can appreciate what this show brings to tv as opposed to the other monotonous boring talent competitions.

This show is an inspiration to children and adults. It is a must keep! With budget cuts in schools to music programs it is the community and media's responsibility to ensure our children have access to healthy and appropriate musical education and entertainment.
