    Comments: these guys work in extreme weathers risking life and limb to save others. The event in question could easily have been a training ex (orkney is easily within Shetland coastguard area of responsibility with no consequence to SAR protection and it's a farce to suspend a pilot in this instance.

    Comments: I totally appreciate the need for policy's and procedures but based on the facts we have been presented with by the press, while this may have contravened something, it surely did not put people's lives at risk, cost a great deal of money or time? I wonder if it CHCs need t be seen to be doing something and not seeming lax which I equally understand.
