Name: Tomas Nolasco on Feb 4, 2013Comments: I will never step into the Container Store. I hope Lerner learns what a bad decision they have made. Shopping for books on line is nothing like being able to read the portion of it you wish to look at and not the first few pages provided on line. Taking my children and neighbors children to the book store have provided me many good memories. What a loss to families and the Reston community.Flag

Comments: Containers do not inspire great minds like books do! Shame on this landlord, for whatever reason he would not renew the lease. It was not because of money.Flag -

Name: Dee Marie Hunter on Feb 19, 2013Comments: I have 3 kids and they all utilize the bookstore that is relatively close to home. My daughter frequents the bookstore and its ashame how B&N wants to stay as they have stated but could not come to leasing agreement which is absurd. And container store to replace the store? There's Target! Its quiet and like one petitioner said, its great for winter when there's really nothing else to do. Hope this petition helps!Flag

Name: Raju Penumatchu on Feb 19, 2013Comments: It is hard to imagine and hard to digest having no book store in Reston. Barnes & Nobles is not only a book store it’ s been used by so many as refresher to get away from stress. For lot of families with kids it is a place to hang out and for kids they play and may be read their first book. So destroying Reston in the name of fake development or false sense of development at the cost of Reston residents building all these office buildings, now there is no room for a book store. Imagine there is no book store in Reston. There is no place for kids to hang out, play and read once Barnes & Noble book store is closed. Whoever making these decisions in changing the very own identity of Reston it is unforgivable.Flag

Name: Christine Selwyn on Feb 26, 2013Comments: There's always going to be a reason for people to buy a book/magazine and other items. But REALLY, you're leasing the space out to The Container Store.......? That's why we have Target and Walmart. I am extremely dissapointed that B&N is no longer going to be around. BoooooooooFlag

Name: Dolores Morisseau on Feb 26, 2013Comments: Shame on Learner and Reston. I will never go to the container store. This is just symptomatic of what has happened to our wonderful town. We should weep to be a town without a book store. Thank God we still at least have RUBS, but it isn't all inclusive!Flag

Name: Michael Blevins on Mar 5, 2013Comments: If the true reason B&N closed their Reston store is because they couldn't come to an agreement with their landlord, then I have a novel idea: Find another location in Reston. The Tall Oaks commercial center has plenty of space, and that's only one suggestion. There are other spaces available. There must be more to the story than we are being told.Flag

Does anybody really need a container store? What is this world coming to, you've just ruined half of my enjoyment of this town. I sure won't be shopping in the new useless store.Flag
