Thanks to all of you who care about this travesty of justice and taking time out to fight for the Priory! one more simple but effective way to help is to email a protest letter to the Champion newspaper ......editor@champ news.com ... this will be a great help to raise the campaign profile and of course get everyone you can to sign the petition and e-mail the Champion to protest about this outrage! Merry Christmas to you all ,Thanks again, Dave Flynn, spokesperson, Save the Priory pub action group. E-mail us at thepeoplespub@hotmail.com for information or to become a member of our proposed cooperative when we win!

We have written a strong letter of protest to the ward councillors about the total lack of communication with local residents before Chorley housing bought the pub to knock it down! They only told 2 of our 3 ward councillors about their presentation of the scheme 24 hours beforehand, effectively ensuring they couldn't attend in time and didn't even tell cllr Moncur about it at all ? ? why did they behave so undemocratically ? Even their presentation was held in the afternoon from 3-30 till 5-30 meaning many locals couldn't get there in time if working and was held AFTER they had already bought the property ! Their behavior is appalling to say the least !.....Dave Flynn, Spokesperson.

was a lovely pub that all our family enjoyed. Think it's a disgrace that our local pubs are being closed. All these new houses are getting built. But where are people supposed to go to socialise. The Netherton pub which is not far away is rammed packed nearly all the time. The mons which is owned by the same company as the priory is packed all the time. There is obviously still demand for local pubs especially the ones that do food
