Comments: You can not put a dollar sign on what Linda Aldrich and her program have done for this community! Losing the Howarth park program would be devastating to the children and horses of sonoma county. Please reconsider cancelling such an important 30 year teaching experience that could help so many more!! I would pay more for pony rides for my son if that helped!!

Comments: The Pony Express is more than just a simple pony ride. If you ask anyone who grew up in Santa Rosa they can tell you who their favorite horse was at the Pony Express. Howerth Park and The Pony Express should never be seperated. We need to do the right thing here!

Comments: The Pony Express has been engrained in my life since I was 3. My favorite thing to do was to go ride the ponies at Howarth Park, and when I grew too old for that I began working for The Pony Express. It was my first job, and to this day I still stop by and say hello. The service that Linda and TPE serves to our community goes further than simply offering pony rides to youth. It connects riders to nature and our wonderful park systems. It teaches children how to interact with a large animals. Finally, the pony people Linda hires are provided with a safe, positive environment to spend time, which is invaluable to the professional development of youths.

Comments: My two children, now 26 and 23 years of age, grew up riding the horses at Howarth Park. Linda is a great asset to the community and cares deeply about what she does. It would be an absolute shame for the City of Santa Rosa to not renew her lease at Howarth Park. Please keep the tradition going!

Comments: Pony Express is an icon and a tradition in Howarth Park. Linda has taught so many young kids not only about ponies and riding, but about responsibility, compassion, work ethic, communication with customers, respect for people and animals, and kindness and community. My daughter, now 23, was so positively influenced by Linda, we still love to stop by and chat. Linda offers a unique and invaluable experience to young people, the park wouldn't be the same without the pony express
