Many people do not know the struggles Chad has been going through. Chad is a poverty stricken country. It is located in north-central Africa. Over 80% of Chad is under the poverty line. The main water source in Africa is not sanitized and almost dried up. Chad also lacks proper waste disposal in rural areas. There is conflict between the main ethnic groups; the Christian farmers in the south and the Islamic nomads in the north. Chad also suffers from lack of basic resources for the Darfurian refugees trying to escape the non-ending civil war of Sudan.
